“This afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing Xavier, the son of two very dear friends. Xavier is the newest member of the amazing group of Preemies that I have been so fortunate to know. He weighs just about 6 pounds and change (a whole pound and a half on James when we took him home). I have to admit I think I spent way more time holding him than I did photographing him… but I just can not help myself. Looking for a great new winter farmer’s market, close to home? Well look no further! Sandywoods in Tiverton, RI is now hosting a winter farmer’s market every Thursday from 4pm-7pm! Some really great vendors are there offering jams and jellies, honey, gourmet roasted coffee, fresh shellfish, clam chowder, alpaca hats and gloves, breads and cakes, pasture-raised meat, sandwiches and tacos, granola, handmade crafts, and of course eggs and fresh produce. There’s also live music from local musicians to help you keep the pace as you stroll through the market. Admission is FREE! Come out and support your local farmers, artists and community! You won’t be disappointed!

“Friday morning I was more than thrilled to do a newborn shoot. It has been quite some time since I have and it was just what I needed to scratch “the itch” (; Miss Elle was wide awake for our shoot and fell asleep just in time for it to be over :) I love her little smile, how alert she is for a newborn and that in some of these images I swear she is striking a pose! <3 Her parents are really the sweetest and I had such a lovely time."
