“This afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing Xavier, the son of two very dear friends. Xavier is the newest member of the amazing group of Preemies that I have been so fortunate to know. He weighs just about 6 pounds and change (a whole pound and a half on James when we took him home). I have to admit I think I spent way more time holding him than I did photographing him… but I just can not help myself. “Friday morning I was more than thrilled to do a newborn shoot. It has been quite some time since I have and it was just what I needed to scratch “the itch” (; Miss Elle was wide awake for our shoot and fell asleep just in time for it to be over :) I love her little smile, how alert she is for a newborn and that in some of these images I swear she is striking a pose! <3 Her parents are really the sweetest and I had such a lovely time."
